Electrical Muscle Stimulation – EMS

At Fit-Nest, every training session benefits from the exclusive presence of a dedicated and qualified personal trainer. We offer personalized 20-minute training sessions with electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) and a personal trainer. This new and efficient training method doesn't require spending hours in the gym. Our team works closely with each client to help them achieve their goals and obtain the desired fitness level in the shortest possible time.

Origins

EMS was initially used in physical therapy to help relax tight muscles, with therapists using localized conductive pads to work on specific areas. Today, our innovative training concept takes these benefits and applies them to the entire body, creating an effective workout that can also address any muscle tensions or imbalances for overall improvement.

The Science

EMS is a high-intensity, low-impact training method that involves sending low-frequency electrical impulses to manually contract muscle fibers during physical exercise. This form of training not only helps tone muscles but also has the potential to aid in weight loss, fat burning, skin tightening, and increased energy levels. It is a popular training method among athletes and individuals interested in health and fitness.

The Workout

At the beginning of the EMS training, your trainer will assist you in wearing the special suit. The electric impulse will initially be mild and may be difficult to notice, but during the 20-minute training session, you will experience a four-second muscle contraction followed by a four-second relaxation period. Your trainer will adjust the intensity level based on your tolerance using a special control panel. Additionally, they will demonstrate a series of exercises tailored to your individual training goals, such as squats, lunges, and planks, and will be right by your side to check alignment and correct your movements if necessary.

Results

Scientific studies have shown the following results over a 12-week period with EMS training: up to 98% engagement of all muscles during a workout, a 9% reduction in body fat, a 4 kg weight loss, a 30% increase in strength, and 89% of people feeling significantly stronger and fitter*.

*Results may vary from person to person, depending on additional factors and lifestyle.
